My nephew had the grand distinction of being picked as the second to last in the draft - also by the Twins like Storey. I think he'll go to college instead Coach Cooney - he is going to HCC this next year - would love to be a FAU Owl like his cousin !!! SS/C - .411 batting average, 8 home runs, 22 steals and very smart !!!

Congratulations go out to this fine high school senior. Looks like he should be looked at closer, and I am sure he will be. Maybe we have a set or two of eyes up here who can do a bit of bird watching and see just whats up with this Chris kid. After all the Twins liked him enough to draft him as a High School Senior, sounds like he could be a nice young addition to our roster. Good luck son.

The grapevine says Widlansky was offered $60K; Cook $40K(I think); Storey $120K. Personally, I think they should all stay for their sr. year, but I'm not sure Storey can hack another year of school. It would be too bad because with a strong full season he could get ten times that.
