From Jay Warman's FAU Sports blog on upressonline.com
“I don’t like that word at all, advanced training. That’s my head coach and I love him to death but that is bullshit. I want to beat OSU, I want to beat UF and Kentucky,” said Acevedo, who recorded his second interception of the season late in the game."

I agree. Advanced training is bullshit. However, if the players want to win those games they need to play like it and not fall asleep in the second half.
GO OWLS!!!

Until the players start playing better in these OC games then it will remain advance training.

Until the players start playing better in these OC games then it will remain advance training. thats right Bytor - couldnt have said it better! Taheem, step back and look at the true source of this statement...you are angry, and frustrated...and rightfully so, you (the secondary) gave up over 250 yards passing last game... But lets be real here...until you stop allowing that, it is advanced training, because you are learning how to stop doing that... second thought: what's so "awesome" about this quote? its a misdirected rant...

I agree with him, telling your team it's advanced training means you have no chance to win. We were in that game until the call in the end zone so how does that fit in?
You have to go into every game believing you have a chance to win and I truly believe this team does. I am a realist but I believe any team at this level has a chance to beat any team.
Now they have to go out and play that way for 4 quarters regardless of the score.
