I remember reading about it back then and posted it simply because the article was printed again in the Boca News on the 17th. The one thing I like is that it was again a positive story.  Good point about the matching funds do you think they may have run the story to try and stimulate other Donors. |

Yeah, that's an old story and I can't figure out why Boca News is running it now unless someone from BRCH knows somebody on Boca News and would like the attention to be drawn to the hospital's fundraising efforts once again. Or maybe Boca News just supports everything in Boca, I don't know. In any case, I don't think the donations are pouring in the way everyone had hoped. I don't know if the hospital is still going to break ground in 2008 or not but this is the only big donation I've heard about and their goal -- if I recall correctly -- was $250 million to get the whole project going. |

I hope all the bad press about FAU lately isn't the reason for the less than expected donations at this time.
