wow this thread went...to more bashing of cuka and kone Bashing: "verbal abuse, as of a group or a nation" - www.dictionary.comWith all due respect, what are you talking about? Please choose your words better...no one is "bashing" anything...rather, being "objective": Objective: "not influenced by personal feelings, interpretations, or prejudice; based on facts; unbiased: an objective opinion. " - www.dictionary.com" Another signing could be possible especially if Cuka or Kone bail next year. " " Kone has come under alot of fire lately...he might take this summer and seriously work on his toughness and overall game and come back and surprise us all..."

Ok, this thread is getting away from the main topic of discussion, about the renovations of the Burrow.
Start another thread if you must.

The Burrow work is well under way. Many huge dumpsters are being filled with demolition debris right now.

who thinks a nice way to re-open the arena and dedicate the NEW and IMPROVED FAU Arena is to hold a half-time ceremony retiring #5 for ernest crumbley - all time points and assists leader at FAU?
i think that would be a pretty nice to re-open the arena... not to mention, show some tradition and honor of the past in fau basketball
there is no sense of any of that around the program... am i wrong?

Good idea, but I don't think we have had any players deserving of having numbers retired...yet.

Mike Bell, Gary Durant were better than Crumbley. The TAAC was the worst conference in the NCAA. The only reason why Crumbley had the most points was because he played four years and shot the ball 90% of the time. Bell was by far the best player we've ever had.

Don't forget the women play there as well. If you want to retire a number, how about Yolanda!! Mike Bell was the best men's player but not sure if he deserves a number retirement.

On fausports.com they put some more pictures of the Burrow Sketch. There's only five, two of the locker room, a scoreboard, the front we've all seen and lobby.
I was kinda bummed because I thought more info would be available.

So, it won't be hanging from above the middle of the court, as in the larger arenas?
